PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting (Pj.) Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin performed congregational tarawih prayers at the Pusdai Mosque, Bandung City, Wednesday (13/3/2024). Elements of the West Java Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) also carried out the congregational tarawih prayers.

The Mobile Tarawih together with Forkopimda is an effort by the West Java Provincial Government to glorify the holy month of Ramadan while strengthening relationships with the community. In this activity, Bey also handed over donations to the poor and poor.

"Let us offer praise and gratitude to Allah SWT. For His abundance of mercy and grace, so that on this blessed night we can gather together to carry out tarawih prayers in congregation," said Bey.

Apart from that, Bey invited the congregation to use the holy month of Ramadan as a momentum to reshape character full of integrity, honesty and responsibility.

"We are making the month of Ramadan a momentum to reshape our character which is full of integrity, full of honesty and full of responsibility," he said.

Previously, Bey performed Tarawih prayers at Lautze 2 Mosque, Jalan Tamblong, Bandung City, Tuesday (12/3/2024).

"This tarawih is for me, the second tarawih which is different. The first mosque was yesterday in Lautze, now it is here. Yes, in essence, we are also adapting to the habits of the mosques," he said.
