PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bogor Regency, Burhanudin, revealed the importance of spatial planning as one of the pillars of development in Bogor Regency.

He expressed this when giving directions at the Regional Spatial Planning Forum (FPRD), at Bigland Sentul Hotel and Convention, Babakan Madang (18/12/2023).

The Bogor Regency FPRD activities carried the theme of reflection on the implementation of spatial planning in Bogor Regency in 2023.

Regional Secretary Burhanudin explained that spatial planning is one of the pillars of development which has a strategic role in realizing sustainable development. Furthermore, in order to reflect on the implementation of spatial planning in Bogor Regency, we need to evaluate various aspects related to spatial planning.

“Including spatial planning, space utilization, and controlling space utilization. "This evaluation needs to be carried out thoroughly and comprehensively, so that it can produce an accurate picture of the spatial planning conditions in Bogor Regency," explained Burhanudin.

He continued, apart from evaluation, it is also necessary to identify various challenges and problems faced in implementing spatial planning in Bogor Regency. This identification is important to be able to develop appropriate strategies and policies to overcome these challenges and problems.

"In general, the implementation of spatial planning in Bogor Regency has gone well. "This can be seen from several achievements that have been achieved, then strong cooperation and synergy is needed from all stakeholders in implementing spatial planning," he said.

Burhanudin hopes that this meeting can be a productive forum to discuss various matters related to reflections on the implementation of spatial planning in Bogor Regency in 2023. Through this meeting, we can produce useful recommendations for improving the implementation of spatial planning in Bogor Regency.

The event was attended by the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) of the Republic of Indonesia, the Ministry of ATR/BPN, the Association of Indonesian Planning Schools (ASPI), the Association of Indonesian Planning Experts (IAP), along with officials from the Bogor District Government.
