DKI Jakarta --- The Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) held the IKN National Coordination Meeting entitled "Regional Government Collaboration with the Archipelago Capital to Create a World City for All" at the Grand Ballroom of the Kempinski Hotel Jakarta (14/3/2024).

Acting The Regent of Garut, Barnas Adjidin, accompanied by the Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), Didit Fajar Putradi, was also present along with Regional Heads from all over Indonesia.

Key speakers include Bambang Susantono (Head of OIKN), Amran (Bina Atwil Minister of Home Affairs), Danis Sumadilaga (Head of the IKN Development Task Force MenPUPR), Suyus Windayana (Secretary General of MenATR/BPN), Tri Dewi Virgianti (Director General of Beppenas Regional Development), and Ridwan Kamil ( IKN Development Curator).

The Head of OIKN, Bambang Susantono, emphasized the importance of collaboration and synergy between stakeholders in building IKN as a civilization transformation to accelerate new economic growth. IKN is designed as a Super HUB Economy to spread economic benefits and encourage cooperation between regions.

"Building IKN is a transformational step to build civilization. Collaboration and synergy between stakeholders is very vital. IKN is a catalyst for the transformation of accelerating new economic growth, becoming a new epicenter of growth," he said.

IKN is designed as a Super HUB Economy to spread economic benefits, encourage trade between regions, and encourage cooperation between regions which is the aim of this National Coordination Meeting.

Bina Atwil Minister of Home Affairs, Amran, explained that IKN is the capital of the Central Government and is led by OIKN who is appointed directly by the President. OIKN can collaborate with regional government partners around IKN and outside its area.

"IKN is the capital of the Central Government, and representatives of foreign institutions/organizations, led by the IKN Authority to organize the government, are appointed, appointed and dismissed directly by the President for 5 years," he explained.

Head of the IKN Development Task Force MenPUPR, Danis Sumadilaga, explained the target time for IKN construction, namely June for the flag ceremony and December for the completion of certain projects. Currently, development of government, national, housing, regional connectivity, raw water, drinking water & sanitation ecosystems continues.

Secretary General of MenATR/BPN, Suyus Windayana, explained the IKN's thorough planning with 9 RDTRs in 3 development areas. 84 percent of the IKN area is green area to support a green capital city.

"IKN planning is quite mature, there are already 9 RDTRs in 3 development areas, 3 in KIPP and 3 in KIKN, 84% of the IKN area is green area to support green capital city, which has been outlined in spatial planning on the largest to smallest scale," he explained . (Diskominfo Garut/Fauziah)
