PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - PLN's West Java Main Distribution Unit has alerted 2657 personnel to maintain electricity supply during the Ramadan and Eid 2024 periods.

The personnel prepared for Idul Fitri Alert 2024 consist of 366 Engineering employees, 133 PDKB personnel, 2403 Yantek officers and Command Center operators, 68 radio operators, 27 HAR GI officers, and 20 detection operators.

"It is our obligation to maintain electricity supplies to support the comfort of Muslims in worshiping in the Holy Month of Ramadan," said the General Manager of PLN UID West Java,
Susiana Mutia, Thursday (14/3/2024).

Susiana also conveyed that the number of Eid al-Fitr 1443 H Alert locations in UID West Java is 536 Priority locations consisting of 97 Mosque locations, 57 Transportation Zones, 59 Defense Zones, 39 Government Zones, 136 Hospitals, 42 Tourist Locations and 106 Shopping Centers spread across at 17 UP3.

Apart from preparing personnel, PLN UID Jabara is also preparing operational vehicles for Eid Al-Fitr 2024, namely 392 cars and 93 operational motorbikes. And supported by the following distribution support equipment: 156 UGB, 16 UPS, 11 UKB, 9 Detectors, 15 Cranes, and 98 Generators.

"Currently West Java Distribution is supplied from 18 Sub Systems (500/150 kV) with a total Supply Capable Power of 14,844 MW and the Highest Peak Load of 8,295 MW," said Susiana.

On this occasion, Pula Susiana said that in the momentum of the month of Ramadan, PT PLN (Persero) is again offering a discount promo to customers who want to add electricity through the Electricity program in the Month of Blessings 2024. Through this promo, customers only need to pay the additional power fee of IDR 202,403 ,-.

This promo applies to additional customer power from 450 Volt Ampere (VA) up to 5,500 VA power. At normal prices, the cost of adding power from 450 VA to 5,500 VA is IDR 4,893,450. This promo is valid until April 5 2024 and can be obtained only through the 'Marketplace' feature in the PLN Mobile application with the applicable terms and conditions.

"To get this promo, customers must make a transaction to purchase Micro, Small Business (UMK) products on the Marketplace feature in the PLN Mobile application with a minimum transaction of IDR 99,000. "After making a transaction, customers can then claim an e-voucher for an added power discount," added Susiana. (guh)
