PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - The Regent of Garut, Rudy Gunawan, was the ceremony inspector at the celebration of the 78th Anniversary of the Indonesian Civil Service Corps (KORPRI) at the Garut Regional Secretariat (Setda) Field (4/12/2023).

In his speech, Regent Rudy Gunawan emphasized the importance of a cooperative spirit among KORPRI members.

Regent Rudy Gunawan revealed that ten years ago, he had highlighted the importance of integrity for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the Garut District Government.

He also encouraged section heads and field heads to carry out technocratic communication in discussing activities.

"At that time, I decided to create an innovation laboratory because civil servants were assigned only to work, work, work," said the Regent of Garut.

Rudy emphasized that an ASN not only works but also carries out various training, such as Pim Training and training in the procurement of goods and services. He emphasized that the honor of a KORPRI member lies in having integrity.

"Synergizing in carrying out our obligations as ASN, this will make us happy that we are working properly," he added.

The Regent of Garut also congratulated the employees and communities who received awards, including the Healthy Garut Forum.

He thanked the Healthy Garut Forum for its dedication in advancing Garut Regency.

In this ceremony, awards were presented, including the Swasti Saba Wistara Award to the Healthy Garut Forum. Also announced was the Best Champion for Action Plan Developers in Asia Pacific at the Green Smart Eco City Development International Training Program, received by the Head of Economics and Natural Resources at the Garut Bappeda, Aliya Maulidiyanti.

Awards were also given to athletes who achieved achievements at the Regional Government Sports Week (Porpemda) at the West Java Province level in 2023, in Kuningan Regency. Garut Regency itself won a total of 1 gold, 1 silver and 7 bronze, obtained from the sport of stilts (gold medal), Badminton Women's Team Team (silver), Basketball Men's Team Team (bronze), Indoor Volleyball Men's Team Team (bronze ), Team Chess Team (bronze), Asep Sopian from Individual Chess Team 2, bronze), Iwan Somantri from Individual Chess Team 4 (bronze), Men's Team Team Walking (bronze).
