PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Bogor City BPDB is still mitigating landslides that occurred in the Raya Batu Tulis area RT 03/RW 07 Batu Tulis Village/District, South Bogor District, Bogor City, on Thursday (16/11/2023) at around 17.30 WIB.

As of Friday (17/11/2023), the disaster mitigation process was still being carried out by the Bogor BPBD team together with related agencies with an assessment from the West Java BPBD.

The landslide resulted in damage to a building located around the cliff of the underpass project. The landslide, which was 100 meters wide and 10 meters high, also caused the 12-point pipe of Perumda Tirta Pakuan to leak, resulting in disruption of water flow.

The incident of a landslide or cliff at the access point on Jalan Cipaku, Mbah Dalem was recorded on a citizen's amateur video with a duration of 0.06 seconds.

In the amateur video footage, it can be seen that on some of the access sections of Jalan Cipaku, Mbah Dalem, landslides occurred when heavy rain hit the Bogor area.

A number of residents' vehicles, both motorbikes and cars, that were passing along the road appeared to be stuck on part of the road in the cliff slide.

Apart from that, it was seen that a number of teams of officers along with BPBD Bogor mobile units, assisted by residents and other related parties, were trying to carry out evacuation and security around the landslide location.
